Brine Tank / Salt Tank Setting Instructions

SET UP FOR SXT
Look for the BLFC (Brine Line Flow Control). This is either located on the Valve Sticker on the Faceplate of the valve where the serial number is or on a sticker where the brine line comes into the valve.
You want to use the chart on page one to determine how much water you need to put into the brine tank.
Example: 32,000 grain water softener with a BLFC of .5 gpm. Requires 18lbs of Salt 18l/s of Salt / 3lbs per gallon = 6 Gallons of Water 6 gallons of water/ .5 GPM BLFC = 12 minutes
You will set this up in Regeneration Cycle Step Times in the BF Cycle Step
SET UP FOR NXT
Look for the BLFC (Brine Line Flow Control). This is either located on Valve Sticker on the faceplate or on the In Line BLFC that is attached to the valve (fig 1)
You want to use the chart on page one to determine how much water you need to put into the brine tank
Example: 300,000 grain water softener with a BLFC of 2 gpm. Requires 150lbs of Salt l/s of Salt / 3lbs per gallon = 50 Gallons of Water 50 gallons of water/ 2 GPM BLFC = 25 minutes

SET UP FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL
Look for the BLFC (Brine Line Flow Control). This is either located on the Valve Sticker on the Faceplate of the valve where the serial number is or on a sticker where the brine line comes into the valve. Or on the BLFC attached to the valve shown on page 2 Fig 1
You want to use the chart on page one to determine how much water you need to put into the brine tank.

Now you will set this on program wheel for regeneration cycle shown in Fig 2. The number of spaces between the rapid rinse and the last two pins on the wheel in the brine fill. In the example above you would leave 6 open holes between the rapid rinse and last two pins
