Here is some more information about iron water:

Water that has bacteria, iron bacteria, is extremely high in Ferric Iron, and has heavy sulfur requires a CHLORINATION DISINFECTION SYSTEM.

Water that has sulfur up to 4 ppm and iron up to 7 ppm can use the ELIMINATOR SYSTEMS FOR IRON OR MANGANESE GREENSAND UNITS.

Water that has up to 8ppm of sulfur and 2 ppm of Iron can use the ELIMIATOR SYSTEMS FOR SULFUR.
